ABOUT THE ROLE
- Research and analyze market and competitors, keep track of industry trends, & conduct customer interviews and focus groups
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Collaborate with technical and UI/UX team members and external contacts to align product roadmap and requirements as well as strategic goals
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items.
Other qualifications include:
- 4+ Years of experience in product development
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner for at least 2 years
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a vision
- Attention to details
- Good English communication skills
- Discipline.
- Overall understanding of technologies used in the product.
The following qualifications are a plus:
- Startup experience
- Experience in working on educational products
- Experience with Learning Management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard etc.
- Experience in working closely with UI/UX designers
