Bid Manager
Client Description:
Adecco Permanent Placement is currently looking for a Bid Manager for one of our trusted clients based in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the bid/no bid decisions for ECEMEA ITTs/RFIs/RFPs together with Sales and Solution Engineering Leaders
- Work with the appropriate Oracle teams to scope the required effort and help manage prioritization for ECEMEA opportunities
- Manage the end-to-end bid process for ITTs/RFIs/RFPs within the ECEMEA
- Manage quality of the Oracle proposals to the highest standards, in line with ECEMEA requirements.
- Drive win strategy and competitive differentiation discussions. Ensure inclusion of strong value propositions in the Oracle proposals
- Preparation of detailed bid plans and management of bid activities against the bid plan
- Identify, engage and manage all internal teams and SMEs needed for successful bid completion. Manage activities for cross functional teams including external partners
- Establish effective collaboration and communication with all members of the bid team
- Manage the clarification questions process
- Proactive risk and issue management on bid completion. Develop contingency plans
- Produce detailed, cohesive, well-structured responses to the Corporate Questions posed in tender documentation
- Drive bid quality within the bid team, promote best practices, act as coach/mentor when needed
- Manage provision and creation of work winning material
- Track and communicate bid status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, risks and issues.
- Plan and review Executive Summaries with Sales
- Assure process compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements
- Prepare, consolidate and review complete package of bid response in line with Customer timelines. Handover of complete bid package to Sales for submission / or direct portal submission
- Track and monitor bid progress after submission
- Produce reports on key data (bid progression, win rates, qualify out rates etc) and drive reviews with Sales and Solution Engineering leaders
- Drive After Action Reviews and ensure process improvements based on lessons learnt
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record of delivering complex and challenging proposals within short time scales in a role as (senior) bid manager, preferably within IT sector.
- Several years in managing proposals or client deliverables for government or/and commercial clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills a must.
- Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems
- Logical approach to problem solving and excellent eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deliverables.
- Proven track record of meeting project timeliness/deliverables and attention to detail, process, deadlines and quality results.
- Fluency in English
